The Indiana Pacers need to start strong to have a chance at a playoff run when Victor Oladipo comes back. Will their schedule allow them to do that?

The NBA released the 2019-20 schedule Monday and Indiana Pacers fans instantly started salivating at the delicious array of relative cupcakes in the season’s first 10 games.

The Pacers begin the season with, in order, Detroit, at Cleveland, at Detroit, at Brooklyn, Cleveland, Chicago, at Charlotte, Washington, Detroit, at Orlando.

None of those teams were within six wins of the Pacers’ 48-34 record last year. The Nets will be without Kevin Durant and still getting used to the change from D’Angelo Russell to Kyrie Irving at point guard.

Even without Victor Oladipo, the Pacers could run the table on their first 10 games and be 10-0 at dawn on Veterans’ Day.

Let’s look at all seven of the Pacers’ opponents and see just why things are looking so good for a fast start.
