The Cleveland Cavaliers face plenty of questions entering the 2018-19 season. Here are the most pressing issues the team faces this season.

The game “21 Questions” is popular at parties, family reunions and on lackluster dates. The rules are simple; one person volunteers to answer questions while the other(s) pepper him with 21 inquiries. The goal of the game is to get to known your companions. You could ask 21 questions about this Cleveland Cavaliers team, however, and still have plenty left over.

The unknowns and to-be-determineds are abundant. With so many young players, some of whom are highly unproven, that is to be expected.

Cleveland also has a rapidly aging star in Kevin Love, a well-aged head coach with no NBA experience mixed with two high-profile and inexperienced point guards.

It’s an interesting combination to say the least.

Usually, rebuilding rosters benefit from longer timelines. Fan pressure is light and front offices are  forgiving. But clock counting down Love’s prime is ticking.

Head Coach John Beilein is 66 years not young. It would be unsurprising for a couple rough years to force him into an early retirement despite a five-year contract. And the roster is peppered with players in “prove it” years.

For a team with small expectations, big decisions may need to be made pretty quickly. Here are the three most pertinent questions heading into the 2019-20 season.
