The Cleveland Cavaliers are hoping that a few of these players who showed promise last season could be candidates for a breakout year.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are banking on a few breakout seasons this year from their core players. With a majority of their roster being young and unproven prospects, it’s vital to the team that at least one of these players hit their stride.

This wasn’t the case last season as the Cavaliers fell to an ugly 19-63 record. This made them the second-worst team in the entire NBA behind only the New York Knicks.

Reloaded and ready for another shot at having a decent season, the Cavs are desperately hoping for someone to emerge as a star. Though last year was mostly a failure, we did see brief glimpses of potential from different members of the roster.

In particular, these three players showed that they have what it takes to break out this year. We will analyze each of their hot-streaks last year and attempt to predict what we can expect from them this time around.
