Utah Jazz: 3 most likely scenarios for the 2019-20 season
The Utah Jazz are right in the middle of the packed Western conference, and therefore there are many possibilities for how their season will unfold.
The Utah Jazz have been sitting quietly after making early moves in the summer, and they’ve seen teams such as theLos Angeles Lakers and LA Clippers make multiple moves to bolster their depth and put themselves atop the league for next season.
However, the Jazz remain as one of the least talked about playoff teams in the West, behind the aforementioned LA teams and others such as the Denver Nuggets and Houston Rockets. The Jazz deserve just as much recognition as those teams, though, and they shouldn’t be taken lightly.
With so much movement happening at the top of the conference, anything can happen come May of next year. Injuries, trades, and even load management play a part in where teams finish at the end of the 82 game marathon.
Therefore, it’s interesting to think about where these teams are capable of finishing, even into the playoffs. The L.A. teams may feel like locks for the conference finals, but who knows if they’ll run into one another in an earlier round. That will leave the door open for a team like the Jazz, Rockets, or Nuggets to take that second spot in the conference finals.
The following slides will take a look at the Jazz and their possible finishes for the upcoming season. From the first round of the playoffs to the Finals, anything is possible if everything falls into place. However, this ranking will focus on the three most likely endings for Utah’s season.
