1. Will Harry Giles demand minutes with stellar play?

Harry Giles might as well be the definition of a fan-favorite, but that alone does not get you playing time. The intrigue of his potential is undeniable, previously being a No. 1 recruit in a class that included Fox, Jayson Tatum, and Donovan Mitchell before going down with an ACL injury.

His talent has only come in flashes during his rookie campaign, countered by moments of struggling to stay out of foul trouble in limited minutes.

While an entire offseason of health should allow him to improve and tone parts of his game, Sacramento added depth to the roster at the center position that will lead to some competition for what already was a limited role for Giles as the backup five.

Dewayne Dedmon replaced Willie Cauley-Stein, and he is the clear best big on the team. It comes down to a battle between high ceilings but a low floor in Giles, or a consistency that has been lacking in the low-usage rim-running big that is Richaun Holmes.

The best utilization of Harry Giles is taking advantage of his stellar playmaking that was displayed so often from the elbow. He will work best next to the now improved bench to make plays for other high-IQ players that will surround him in that unit.

If he plays well and stays healthy — which is a huge asterisk — he could negate the need for Holmes on this roster. But if he struggles to show consistency in health or play, the faith in his untapped potential will rightfully start to deteriorate.
