1. Can this team actually win games?

Perhaps the easiest question to ask heading into next season is whether or not the Phoenix Suns can win games next season.

But then again, it’s said then done.

Over the past four years the Suns have found themselves in the NBA draft lottery and have won less than 25 games in each of those seasons. That’s isn’t a great trend to follow a season removed from the tying the second-worst record in the league.

However, next season could be the turning point the franchise desperately needs.

With a new head coach in Monty Williams and a rejuvenated roster, the Las Vegas betting books currently have Phoenix projected for 25.5 wins, which would be a stark improvement in recent years.

Should the team surpass that mark, it would be the Suns best since 2014-15. That would be a nice little tab on the resume on new general manager James Jones, who took over the reins of the franchise last season.

On paper, the Suns are much better than they were one season ago. The team has a point guard, improved overall depth and drafted two first-round selections. That will make the team surpass the win total from last season.

The tough thing is how talented the Western Conference is and the new balance of the league created by a chaotic offseason.

While the team should perform better, the Suns will find that the overall talent of the teams they play this season is also significantly improved.

Next. Each NBA team's greatest coach ever. dark

It won’t be a glamorous year for Phoenix, but as a whole the Suns should win more games and could creep into the 30-win column if the team can stay healthy.
