This, in turn, has created a level of mobility never before seen with ownership and the commissioner unsure of how to best move forward.
One would think given the empowerment even some of the lesser talents have, just about everyone would manage to find happiness with their current teams.
All these fluctuating rosters have put some in their ideal situations but have simultaneously created less than favorable ones for their newest teammates and possibly even their old ones.
We’ve seen how drastic the future of an organization can change with one unlucky injury. Without total control over where they land, some guys simply wind up on a team with a different goal in mind for the coming years.
February is where the madness will recommence with the annual trade deadline, but the time of year has rarely stopped a player from forcing their way elsewhere. Not all of these players are searching for the same things.
All should come to the realization, though, that whatever it is won’t be found in their current situation.
