With Caesars Palace releasing its annual over/under win projections for the coming NBA season, now is a good time to make predictions on those figures.

All 60 draft selections have been made and most of the free-agent market has already chosen their next destination.

More from Hoops Habit

We are currently in a time where the news is as quiet as ever on the NBA forefront with the eyes of the fans homing in on the coming schedule release due in August and organizations looking even further to the start of training camp in September.

Normally on a never-ending clock that has them awake until the wee hours of the night, reporters and even front office members can take a breather in the aftermath of one of the wildest summers in league history.

For a sport with a news cycle lasting roughly 365 days a year, this period is about as mundane as it’s going to get.

It’s for this reason that the great city of Las Vegas decided to throw out another talking bone for the league and it’s surroundings to chew on for a bit.

Caesars Palace released its annual projected regular-season win total for all 30 teams that provide another talking point to milk over the coming weeks.

It’s worth pointing out no team is projected by Vegas to win over 60 games. Last season, the Milwaukee Bucks were the only team to accomplish such a feat while the Toronto Raptors and Golden State Warriors weren’t far behind at 58 and 57, respectively.

Another noteworthy inclusion is not a single team is thought to have a sub-20 win season — a feat three tank-heavy teams pulled off last year.

This is likely resulting from the skewed lottery system first implemented this past season that — especially after the results — may motivate an otherwise cellar-dweller to compete without the guarantee of a top pick.

Every fan likely has what to say about their team’s projections both good and bad. Unfortunately, we won’t know their accuracy until the playoffs are in view.

Until then, all we can do is insert our opinion to figure out whether or not each can exceed the expectations placed or whether they’ll fall far below them.
