In what was one of the wildest offseasons in recent memory, where each NBA team ended up on the grading scale is a worthy discussion.

Independent on the outcome of the 2018-19 NBA campaign, fans of just about every team waited eagerly in anticipation of the coming offseason.

More from Hoops Habit

From a draft that featured one of the most-hyped prospects we’ve seen in a while to a free-agency class loaded with talent, the drama around the league wouldn’t slow down one bit when the ball stopped bouncing.

To say the summer has lived up to the hype doesn’t seem to do a truly chaotic time the justice it deserves. Blockbuster trades became a near-weekly occurrence with a level of player movement never before seen.

The NBA may be in its quite time where media members can finally rest easy, but the ripple effects will be felt for years to come.

When it comes time to grade all 30 teams for their performance during the league’s second season, it’s a task more difficult than one would think. Not every team is graded on an equal scale in part due to the fluctuating goals of each heading into the summer.

Some organizations went hunting for superstars in the hopes of expediting a potential championship contender while others searched for more subtle pieces to help fine-tune a proven commodity.

It’s not about the signings on paper so much as it’s important to figure out how they will play out on the court.

It was a frenzied period from the moment the Toronto Raptors hoisted the Larry O’Brien Trophy that’s given the league more championship parity than it’s had in a long time. Fans of every team have changes to adjust to, but some may take longer than others.
