This team right now as constructed is not a favorite to win a championship or come out of the West but they have pieces like Chris Paul, Danilo Gallinari and Steven Adams that could make things interesting.
Paul will go to a team where he is the primary ball-handler after he shared the backcourt with James Harden the past couple of seasons. Gallinari is a dead-eye sniper from deep. If the Thunder are to have a chance they will need him to be at the top of his game.
Adams has improved every season he has been in the league. With Paul George and Russell Westbrook leaving, he should be in an even more heightened role. He should be a player to watch to see how he has improved his game during the offseason.
The OKC Thunder have undergone a complete makeover, not by choice. Here are three big questions that will follow the team throughout the season.
