With some of these, the Timberwolves were able to avoid any disastrous results, but other times it led to a team like the 2014-15 Minnesota Timberwolves, who struggled in almost every game they were in and ended up with a 16-66 record.
A lot of these choices came between 2009-13 and they affected the organization for years to come. Most of these came in the form of bad draft picks, but Minnesota also has a history of making bad moves in free agency that have hurt their position for the following season.
With everything seemingly on the right track for Minnesota, it’s a fair time to take a look at some of those mistakes, and hope that the organization can learn from them, to avoid something like it in the future.
