In an otherwise weak team like the New York Knicks, many players might get the chance to impress, yet others may fail to meet expectations.

The New York Knicks underwent some major changes throughout this offseason. With more than half of the team’s current players being recent acquisitions, no one could simply tell if this is a recipe set for success or yet another high lottery spot.

After finishing the 2018-19 season with a record of 17-65, tied for their worst performance in franchise history, some changes had to be made. This city and the fans were growing more and more frustrated at the lack of quality basketball at Madison Square Garden.

Thus, after striking out in free agency when it came to superstar caliber players, they decided to enrich the team with quality veterans as role players, perhaps some of the best in the business.

In a team like that, where no rotation or starting lineup has yet been decided, each member of this group of talented players is bound to get pretty much the same amount of chances on the court.

The Knicks are far from competing, thus enabling head coach David Fizdale to experiment countless times with the roster he’s been given, something we witnessed on a number of different occasions last season. With this constant experimenting, some players are bound to step up and shine.

Unfortunately, some other players will be overshadowed by their teammates, leaving them to struggle during their time on the court. Here are 3 players most likely to struggle to keep up with the changes set forth by the organization, enter the 2019-20 NBA Season.
