Fit on the Blazers

Not too long ago, Greg Monroe was one of the better frontcourt starters in the league. He is an excellent scorer in the post, can shoot from the mid-range and makes smart passes. Monroe is a force in the pick-and-roll/pick-and-pop, and that is what teams want from their bigs.

Monroe could provide a solid scoring punch off the bench and could even start some games if needed. He can play both frontcourt spots and could play a role similar to what Enes Kanter did last year.

dark. Next. Each NBA team's greatest coach ever

He could be a central part of the rotation before Nurkic is back and after. His basketball IQ, veteran locker room presence and skill set could be attractive for the Blazers as they look to make another deep playoff run.
