Fit on the Blazers

One of the more popular names in the NBA, Dwight Howard is still a physical freak at the age of 33. He is one of the leagues greatest shot blockers, rebounders and dunkers. If he is all the way bought in, Howard is a hard guy to slow down on both ends of the floor.

He will be looking for a chance to prove himself and Portland would be an excellent fit. Howard will get playing time right away and will be asked to be a difference-maker. He gets a chance to play with great guards and other good big men so he won’t have the pressure of being the main guy.

If he plays well, Portland could look to move Whiteside and keep Howard and Nurkic the rest of the season or go into the second half of the season with all three on the team and have one of the better frontcourts in the NBA.
