1. Pascal Siakam

Funny as it may seem, the NBA’s 2018-19 Most Improved Player might be up for yet another breakout season shortly after finishing his first one.

It is not easy being the league’s most improved player right after a top-tier superstar was added to your team. Yet somehow, Pascal Siakam managed to do that playing alongside Leonard.

Doubling his averaged in almost every statistical category throughout the 2018-19 NBA season. Pascal seemed irreplaceable.  He was the perfect Robin to Kawhi’s Batman, a sidekick every superstar would wish to have. He stepped up whenever it was needed, he allowed Kawhi to shine whenever he felt like it.

Siakam finished Game 1 of the NBA Finals with 32 points on 14-of-17 shooting from the field. Additionally, the11 consecutive field goals that he made in that game were the most in these past 20 years.

By watching Siakam play, nobody could conclude that this was a player in the middle of his third season in the league. He plays with outstanding basketball maturity, showcasing that both his offensive and defensive IQ capacity are sky-high.

Now, almost certain to be the team’s No.1 scoring option for the following season, it is up to him to prove whether or not he can be the main guy on a winning team. Another breakout season for Pascal may be at the threshold for us to witness.
