Minnesota Timberwolves: 3 Andrew Wiggins trades with Thunder
By Ethan Becker
After striking out in free agency, the Minnesota Timberwolves will be looking to boost fan morale slightly before the season, possibly by trading the controversial Andrew Wiggins.
After making the playoffs in 2018 and then missing it again in 2019, the Minnesota Timberwolves are looking to avoid another historic playoff drought and to dump some salary while they do it.

One avenue the Wolves hoped to achieve this was through free agency, but that didn’t end up as well as many hoped that it would. Plan B for this goal will be making offseason moves to try to bolster the roster, and when that happens, big trades are never off the table.
One player that the Timberwolves could be looking to move is Andrew Wiggins. Wiggins has been a controversial player among the Timberwolves’ fan base, with a lot of fans on in favor of moving him, and seemingly just as many opposed to it.
With Wiggins reportedly unhappy playing behind Karl-Anthony Towns, his future with the team could be coming to an end. Keeping that in mind, there are some options out there in the trade market for Wiggins, and it could be right about time to take a look at them now.
One potential destination for Wiggins could be the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder have shown that they are not scared to make big, bold moves, and it seems like they are going to blow up their current system.
With that, a few trades emerge that could help both teams in their development.
