The 2019 NBA free agency period featured massive shakeups for stars across the league. These 10 players may be the next ones on the move.

There has never been this much turnover by NBA stars in the history of the league.

Period.

The summer of 2019 has been historic by NBA standards.

From June 15 — when the New Orleans Pelicans agreed to trade Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers — up to the Russell Westbrook for Chris Paul swap on July 11, eight 2019 NBA All-Stars have switched teams via free agency or trade.

Kawhi Leonard and Paul George teamed up in LA. Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant decided to try out Brooklyn. Kemba Walker stepped into Boston in the absence of Irving. Westbrook reunited with James Harden in Houston.

Basketball fans are used to star player movement. It happens fairly frequently, but this many players — and in one summer — is overwhelming.

There isn’t a single reason why, either.

Leonard won a title with Toronto, yet chose to leave. George — after being recruited by Leonard — requested a trade to the Clippers to return to his childhood home of Los Angeles.

Durant presumably wanted out of the shadow of the Golden State Warriors and a chance to reclaim his legacy.

The summer of 2019 became a storm of the perfect conditions to allow all of this to fall in place.

So, it begs the question: who is next?

The NBA never stays stale for long. There is always a star player who wants out of his current situation or a team that feels they are one move away from contention.

Here are 10 star NBA players who may be the next big named players to switch teams.
