With the summer league in full swing now, every player on the team is trying out for a spot on the team. One of those players that the Minnesota Timberwolves will be looking at is Jordan McLaughlin.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are on the way to getting back to the NBA Summer League championship with a great starting record of 3-0. With that, the team really seems to be playing nicely together, with just five out of the 17 players on the team averaging less than 1.0 assists per game. Three of those four players have averaged less than 10.0 minutes per game, and two of them haven’t even played a single game.

With the success that the Timberwolves have found, it might be beneficial to them to start taking a look at some of the players on their roster, and consider putting them on Minnesota’s regular season list. Currently, only five players — Mitchell Creek, Josh Okogie, Jarrett Culver, Jaylen Nowell and Keita Bates-Diop — are on that roster, and filling any holes with these players could be a cheap option for a team in need of some solid third-string players.

Still not everyone is going to be a good addition to the team, and not everyone plays at the same level in the NBA that they do in the G League and in Summer League. That’s why it’d be smart to sort out the good and the bad that each player would bring to the table. One of those players is Jordan McLaughlin, who has seen a lot of action around the NBA.
