1. 2008-10 away jerseys

These were class. Unveiled as part of the 20-year anniversary for the Timberwolves, fans were only treated to these designs for two years before the organization switched to a watered down version in 2010.

The trees that lines the sides and collar of the previous design were removed, and they were replaced with one large tree design going up the side. The green is an unexpectedly nice addition to the grey and black, which traditionally donned the sides of the previous design, and the history and respect for the state of Minnesota is still present.

The font change gave the look a more contemporary feel to the jersey, and the addition of the Wolves’ secondary logo with the No. 20 below gave the whole thing an air of sentimentality.

An interesting aside for these jerseys: The 2008-10 design has the Timberwolves logo on the shorts, and it was also the first design that saw the home jersey say “Wolves” and the away jersey say “Minnesota”, the latter of which is a design element that is still used in the jerseys today, showing the staying power this design has.
