Gerald Green: 1 year, $2.6 million (Houston Rockets)

Dunks and 3-pointers: It’s the ethos of the Houston Rockets, and it’s pretty much all Gerald Green brings to the table these days. Still, at the veteran minimum, this is a solid decision from GM Daryl Morey.

Green didn’t see much time in the playoffs last year, but he’s a quality depth piece who makes the grind of the regular season a little bit easier. He averaged 9.2 points in his 20.2 minutes per game last season, though his 3-point percentage dipped to 35.4 percent.

At 33 years old, Green isn’t going to suddenly add new elements to his game, but as a familiar second unit gunner who’s going to jack up 3s and finish attacks on the rim with emphatic dunks, the veteran minimum is the perfect agreement to provide some much-needed bench depth.

Grade: B-
