With 2019 NBA free agency nearly upon us, it’s time to take a look at the biggest names of the summer and make vain attempts to predict where they’ll land.

2019 NBA free agency begins on Sunday at 6 p.m. ET, and coming off the heels of a surprising upset in the Finals and a bonkers NBA Draft night, anything can happen.

Much like 2016, teams are set to be flush with cap space, and this summer’s free agency crop is more bountiful than most. Several teams have the space to harvest one or even two max-level players, while incumbents will do their best to hold onto the talent they’ve spent years cultivating.

The torrential downpour of free agency news is always unpredictable, but this summer’s forecast feels more volatile than most. With both Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson coming off potentially career-altering injuries, the Golden State Warriors dynasty is at best on hold for a year, and at worst, on the cusp of total collapse.

This opens the door for other suitors, but even if KD and Klay re-sign with the Dubs, the NBA feels wide open for the 2019-20 campaign — a first in nearly half a decade. Normally the defending champs would fill that void of a heavy title favorite, but the Los Angeles Lakers just added Anthony Davis to LeBron James, and the Toronto Raptors have no guarantee of signing the reigning Finals MVP, Kawhi Leonard.

Kyrie Irving, Jimmy Butler, Kemba Walker — the list of high-profile free agents goes on and on. In the interest of sorting through the last few months of rumors and speculation (and at the risk of looking profoundly stupid two weeks from now), here are predictions for where 12 of the NBA’s most notable 2019 free agents will end up this summer.
