In line for the biggest payday of his career, here are five potential landing spots for point guard Patrick Beverley in 2019 NBA free agency.

He’s done it the hard way, but Patrick Beverley could finally be in line to be richly rewarded.

Having begun his professional career in Europe and Russia, Beverley is fresh off completing the four-year, $23 million contract he signed in the summer of 2015 with the Houston Rockets. Since then, that deal has proven to be one of the best bargains of the league, with Beverley clearly outplaying its value with his stellar play these past two seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers.

A recent tweet from Tim MacMahon of ESPN outlined just what value Beverley is expected to have on the open market come July 1:

With many teams around the league possessing both cap space and significant interest in landing Beverley, the salary numbers mentioned by MacMahon are certainly more than realistic considering what he brings to the table. A member of the 2017 NBA All-Defensive First Team, Beverley possesses a career 38.0 percent shooting clip from 3-point range, including hitting 44.6 percent of his “wide open” 3s last season.

So with the bidding for his services set to intensify come July, here are five potential landing spots this offseason for Patrick Beverley.
