The Cleveland Cavaliers should be looking to make a splash in 2019 NBA free agency. Here are 10 potential free agents to pursue.

Ever since LeBron James announced his iconic decision in 2010, the NBA has never been the same. Free agency has taken on an entirely different outlook, with star players being more open to switching teams than ever before. While the Cleveland Cavaliers likely won’t sign a star this summer, there are still some solid players out there they should look to sign.

Last season, Cleveland experienced a wake-up call. After four consecutive trips to the NBA Finals and the first championship in franchise history, the Cavaliers quickly fell back to the bottom of the totem pole when James once again left in free agency.

Cleveland has been burned by free agency more than a few times. With a solid young core in place now, maybe the Cavs can change the culture this summer by adding talent to their roster via free agency.

It’s important that the Cavaliers remain realistic here and don’t attempt to sign any major stars. Furthermore, they should steer clear of any unproven player looking for a massive contract. The goal should be to play it safe and acquire as much talent as they can. Here are 10 potential free agents they need to keep their eye on.
