The Chicago Bulls enter the 2019 offseason needing to improve some key roster spots. Here’s how they can do it on a bargain budget.

The 2019 NBA Draft answered how the Chicago Bulls were going to approach their point guard issue. It has been apparent for some time that Kris Dunn was viewed as the weak link of the starting lineup and the team will aim to improve the position this summer.

Drafting North Carolina point guard Coby White gave the Bulls some depth at the position while also freeing the team to spend on other needs if necessary.

This summer, the Bulls are estimated to have approximately $20 million in cap space to spend and if they use that wisely, the roster should shape up nicely entering training camp.

While they won’t attract big-name free agents like Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant or Jimmy Butler, Chicago should still be in play for some quality additions. The Bulls just might need to go bargain shopping this summer.

With a strong need for some frontcourt depth — Cristiano Felicio is currently slated as the backup center — as well as their current veteran leadership void, there are options for the front office to choose from.

Here are five bargain bin free agents that could play an effective role for the Bulls in 2019-20.
