5. Raymond Felton

There are certain attributes that the Thunder value in players: Toughness, gritty play, consistency and effort. At nearly 35 years old Raymond Felton still encompasses those values.

While he appeared in only 33 games last year for Oklahoma City as the third-string point guard Felton’s consistency and veteran leadership earned him playing time in all five of the Thunder’s playoff games.

At his age and the depth of his position on the team, it is unlikely that Felton would find more playing time with Oklahoma City, but he has provided a role the past two seasons as a locker room leader and veteran voice amongst the younger players.

Even though he only played spot minutes, Felton still contributed on the court as well averaging 4.3 points and 1.6 assists in only 11.5 minutes a game while providing his typical hard-nosed, aggressive defense.

With the sheer amount of guards in free agency this summer, coupled with the fact that Felton has found a home in Oklahoma City in his final NBA years, Felton is a prime bargain bin candidate for the Thunder to sign to a veteran minimum contract.
