Jerryd  Bayless

The first example of what I was saying in the intro, Jerry Bayless has not been awful for the Wolves.

With an average of 6.1 points per game and 3.5 assists per game while playing under 20 minutes per game, Bayless was a good go-to guy for us off the bench to give players like Derrick Rose, Jeff Teague and Tyus Jones a break.

However, there are just too many better options in the free agent pool this year. If they wanted to go all out, the Wolves could try signing J.J. Barea, but even outside of that, you have players like Patrick Beverly, Trey Burke, Jose Calderon and Michael Carter-Williams all available.

Burke and Carter-Williams especially would go a long ways towards keeping the team on the younger side, and Calderon could provide some great veteran experience.

Moving on from Bayless to one of the younger guards would allow the Timberwolves to bring in some more phenomenal talent at the one and two positions and it would exchange an aging veteran who is declining after the prime of his career with an exciting young player, full of potential.

Verdict: Sell
