The selection of Darius Garland in the 2019 NBA Draft has created a few reasons for the Cleveland Cavaliers to consider trading him or Collin Sexton.

The decision to draft Darius Garland with the No. 5 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft might feel a bit familiar for Cleveland Cavaliers fans. This might be because just a year ago, the Cavaliers drafted an undersized point guard with the No. 8 pick in Collin Sexton.

Garland is a pure shooter with a tight handle. His quick release and accuracy from deep helped him become a top prospect despite appearing in only five college games.

Meanwhile, Sexton is fresh off a rookie season that saw him break multiple franchise records en route to All-Rookie second team honors.

Both of these players are talented in their own way, but isn’t it a bit redundant to draft point guards in back-to-back NBA Drafts? Let alone have them both selected with the use of top 10 picks?

It goes without saying that this decision is going to create some interesting dynamics on the court for Cleveland. In the end, the Cavaliers might be better off trading one of these players.

Today, we will break down three reasons why the Cavs should consider a trade and attempt to predict which player will hit the trading block first.
