Overall
It would’ve been hard for Memphis to feel any luckier than it did on draft lottery night when it moved up from No. 8 to No. 2. But the Grizzlies struck gold one more time on Thursday night with Ja Morant and Brandon Clarke.
Losing the final two members of the “Core Four” and “Grit-N-Grind” era in Memphis was a sad day, but fans have picked themselves up and are ecstatic to see this young, high-flying crew put on the Beale Street Blues next season and compete out West.
THIS IS HUGE!!!!

Getting Ja Morant and Brandon Clarke is an A+. The Grizzlies may have won the draft. Our front office is killing the game. The new era is HERE #GrindCity https://t.co/oAjmXByHjF
There are still questions to be answered with free agency in the coming weeks and the roster looks to be filled with youth and raw talent, but for now, Memphis Grizzlies basketball is back.
