Atlanta Hawks

De’Andre Hunter (No. 4), Cam Reddish (No. 10), Bruno Fernando (No. 34)

The No. 4 pick may have flown around the country over the last few days, but it ultimately landed in the hands of the Atlanta Hawks. While not high enough to draft one of the supposed surefire top three picks, De’Andre Hunter is sure to fit nicely into the rebuilding project the Hawks are in the midst of.

Standing 6’5” with a ridiculous 7’2” wingspan, Hunter’s got the frame all NBA teams search high and low for that can defend multiple positions. In helping the University of Virginia to a national title, he shot 48.3 percent from beyond the arc with a high floor that will have him immediately contribute as a high-end 3-and-D player.

Cam Reddish spent his one season at Duke in the shadows of flashier teammates Zion Williamson and R.J. Barrett. This admittedly affected his overall production as a freshman, but the potential is certainly present with a player still just 19 years of age.

He’s got great length that will pair nicely next to fellow draft mate Hunter on the perimeter. Despite shooting just 33.3 percent from distance, Reddish has a smooth outside stroke and does a great job of making reads as an off-ball threat. Bruno Fernando is an intriguing athletic big man who blocked 1.9 shots per game last season.

Atlanta already had a bright future. With their activity on draft night, the Hawks managed to snag their ideal guy in Hunter while also adding high-ceiling prospects to grow next to young studs Trae Young, Kevin Huerter and John Collins.
