Detroit Pistons

Sekou Doumbouya (No. 15), Deividas Sirvydis (No. 37), Jordan Bone (No. 57)

What Sekou Doumbouya may lack in tangible statistics he makes up for in untapped potential for the Detroit Pistons at 15th overall. A burly 6’9” listed at 230 pounds, he’ll have little issues in dealing with the men of the NBA from the start.

His imposing size along with solid mobility is sure to translate at the defensive end, where he’ll likely be tasked with guarding a number of different positions. Doumbouya lacks any go-to options offensively and will have to rely on pure energy and hustle early on in order to make an impact.

Despite trading up to select Deividas Sirvydis, the Pistons don’t expect him to come over right away. A smooth lefty shooter who knocked down 46.3 percent of his outside looks, he can also get to the basket and finish with either hand.

Jordan Bone was a dependable point guard at the University of Tennessee last season. The All-SEC guard averaged 13.5 points and 5.8 assists per game last season. He’s got pretty good athleticism for someone his size and may get some run as a third-string point guard.

The Pistons have a dominant frontcourt but are in desperate need of shooting to complement it. Sirvydis would’ve been an ideal selection if he were to come in right away. Without any player to noticeably help with its weaknesses, Detroit missed out on the chance to build on its playoff appearance in a financially favorable way.

Grade: C-
