The Chicago Bulls selected at the No. 7 spot for the third straight year and they had the No. 38 pick as well in the 2019 NBA Draft. Here’s a look at how the team fared with each selection.

The Chicago Bulls came into the 2019 NBA Draft on the heels of an abysmal season. They parted ways with former coach Fred Hoiberg after dropping 19 of their first 24 games.

The injury bug played a big role in the team’s disappointing season as players missed a total of 290 games due to injuries or illness. With key rotational players in and out of the lineup at various stretches, the Bulls won just 22 games, the team’s fewest win total since 2001-02.

Additionally, their 22-60 mark was the fifth-worst record in franchise history and was the fourth-worst record in the association. Needless to say, things did not go well in Year 2 of the team’s rebuild. Bearing that in mind, the Bulls were in need of a couple of impact players in the 2019 NBA Draft.

For the third consecutive season, Chicago picked at the No. 7 spot and also selected at the No. 38 spot for the second time in three seasons. So, without further delay, here’s a look at how the Bulls fared with each of these selections.
