1. Championship celebration and parade
Very few NBA fans would not get a warm feeling in their hearts by watching players like Kyle Lowry, Marc Gasol, Serge Ibaka and even Jeremy Lin lift the Larry O’Brien Trophy. These are players that have been fighting for it since the very first moment they stepped on an NBA court, only to achieve it in 2019 as members of the Toronto Raptots.
By being the only NBA team in Canada, the Raptors kind of have that whole “One country, One team” type of motto going for them. But that motto of unity couldn’t even begin to describe the atmosphere that was happening during their championship parade.
