After completing their fairytale, it’s time to evaluate the top 10 moments of the 2018-19 season for the NBA champion Toronto Raptors.

The 2018 offseason was a big one for the Toronto Raptors. They decided to part ways with reigning Coach of the Year Dwane Casey, after a series of disappointing seasons with minimal postseason success.

In addition to firing Casey, they performed a blockbuster trade with the San Antonio Spurs to pick up superstar Kawhi Leonard in exchange for their franchise player, DeMar DeRozan. The All-Star shooting guard had been their go-to guy during his nine seasons with the team, but unfortunately, the NBA is still a business.

This season may have started off bittersweet, but the ending was definitely sweet as honey. The Raptors managed to dethrone the Golden State Warriors in the 2019 NBA Finals, earning their first championship in franchise history.

The championship parade was nothing short of everyone’s expectations, with thousands of people on the streets cheering up for their team and most importantly, Kawhi Leonard.

With a significantly important offseason ahead, the players can relax and enjoy their historic success while the front office does its magic.

Here are the top 10 moments from undeniably the finest season of basketball that Canadian NBA fans have ever been a part of.
