Houston Rockets: Top 10 moments from James Harden’s historic season
10. The behind-the-back dime in the Windy City
Despite missing a few games at the onset of the year due to a strained left hamstring, Harden refused to let his early season setback slow him down by utilizing his handle and vision to put on a passing clinic out in Chicago on Nov. 3.
In his first official game back in the lineup, Harden dished out several assists, including a laser-like, behind-the-back dime inside to Isaiah Hartenstein for a layup that would draw the delight of many within the crowd.

"“It’s been a minute,” Harden told reporters after helping direct the Rockets to a 96-88 victory against the Chicago Bulls. “So I just wanted to get out there and just try to be myself.” “I think I did a pretty good job of that.”"
Although Harden’s jaw-dropping assist might not count for the highest of scores on The Beard’s overall richter scale of highlights, one could argue that the following play proved to be just what the doctor ordered to help him get back in tune.
Harden — who scored a game-high 25 points on 7-of-17 shooting from the floor — poured in 11 points in the third quarter that helped Houston march out to a 17-point lead it would never look back from.
