Darius Garland

If the Chicago Bulls can pull off a draft-day trade, Darius Garland might just be the target. Though he appeared in just five games in college due to a meniscus injury, the dynamic Vanderbilt guard could be the steal of the draft.

His effortless shot has NBA scouts drooling and executives mulling opportunities to move pieces to get the chance to add him to their rosters. He’s a scoring point guard, averaging 16.2 points per game in his brief NCAA career.

Adding Garland to the roster would make the Chicago Bulls an even younger team in 2019-20, but that addition could widen their window for contention.

The downside of trading up for Garland would mean that it comes at a cost, likely LaVine or the seventh overall pick. If the Vandy freshman happens to slide to the Bulls at No. 7, then their night might just be charmed.
