1. Isn’t it harder to walk away from the champions?

In what has to be considered as one of the best photos of the 21st century, Kawhi Leonard actually seems like he is indeed…a fun guy.

Upon pulling the trigger on the blockbuster trade for the Klaw, almost everyone thought the Raptors had traded away their franchise player, in exchange for a one-year rental. It even seemed that way throughout the entire season.

But is it really that easy to leave the team that helped you win a championship, while also possibly solidifying yourself as the best player on the planet? Now a free agent, most people think Kawhi has already packed his bags and booked a ticket to LAX to sign with either Los Angeles team.

Take a glance at the picture above. This is the picture of a player whose smiles occur once in a blue moon.

With both Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson being out with major injuries, it is really difficult to envision the Warriors being in the conversation for the championship during the 2019-20 season. With this super-team out of the way, Kawhi’s path to repeating could be twice as easy.
