The Anthony Davis trade will have ripple effects beyond the Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans. Here are the biggest winners and losers of the deal.

On Saturday, the New Orleans Pelicans and Los Angeles Lakers reached an inevitable conclusion to months of rumors and speculation, agreeing to an Anthony Davis blockbuster deal as reported by ESPN‘s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Lakers will be adding another superstar to join LeBron James in L.A., but paid a hefty price in doing so, sending Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, three first round picks and the right to swap another first-rounder to NOLA in the exchange.

With three talented youngsters and potentially four first-rounders heading New Orleans’ way, there are obvious ripple effects for both the Pelicans and Lakers, but a trade of this magnitude extends beyond the two teams directly involved.

The question is, how does this move affect the rest of the league at large? Which other teams can capitalize on the effects of this exchange, and which ones will feel them in a negative way? Here are the biggest winners and losers of the Anthony Davis trade.
