With the Utah Jazz reaching the postseason once again in 2018-19, here are three keys to how they can build on that in 2019-20.

The Utah Jazz were able to once again put together an impressive season in 2018-19.

After getting off to a slower start to the year, the Jazz put together a stellar stretch in the second half of the regular season to finish with a 50-32 record and grab the 5-seed in the stacked Western Conference.

That finish in the regular season secured Utah a spot in the NBA Playoffs for the third straight year, matching the team up with the Houston Rockets in the opening round. The Rockets ultimately were too much for the Jazz, who fell to Houston in five games.

This offseason is likely going to be an interesting one for Utah, considering it has some holes to fill and will have some cap room to be able to add some pieces to the rotation prior to the 2019-20 campaign.

There are plenty of things the Jazz could focus on in order to build on their success in the last three seasons and try and make a deeper run in the postseason next year.

From improving on the offensive end of the floor, to helping its star player continue to take the next step, to possibly adding another player into the starting rotation and more, let’s dive into three goals that Utah should have this offseason in order to put together another strong year in 2019-20.
