Philadelphia 76ers: A 4-team, blockbuster trade involving James Harden
By Simon Smith
Following a recent blockbuster revelation, here’s a four-team, 12-player mega trade involving the Philadelphia 76ers and James Harden.
While the Philadelphia 76ers are set for a hectic offseason, it appears the Houston Rockets could easily eclipse them.
An explosive revelation made recently by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN has stated that Rockets general manager Daryl Morey has made his entire roster available this summer, including reigning MVP James Harden. Naturally, this will garner the attention of front offices league-wide, many of which are trying to make significant upgrades to their own roster.
The Sixers, of course, face a number of their own decisions entering the summer. With Jimmy Butler, Tobias Harris and J.J. Redick all being unrestricted free agents, the franchise is entering a critical time considering their success over the past two seasons.
Considering the interest that is likely to be shown towards the Rockets’ leading players, the Sixers and others are going to have to provide a more than suitable offer in order to satisfy Morey and the Rockets’ front office.
Remember: This is not a deal that is ever likely to take place, and is a genuinely hypothetical scenario designed to generate debate.
With this in mind, here is a four-team, eight-player mega-trade that aims to satisfy the interests of each team involved.
