5. Danny Green

For a team that was 30th in 3-point makes, 27th in attempts and 19th in percentage, the Bulls desperately need more shooters. Enter Toronto Raptors forward Danny Green, fresh off a 3-point barrage in Game 3 of the NBA Finals where he knocked down six from beyond the arc and is 17th all-time in playoff 3-pointers made.

Green shot 45.3 percent from long range with the Raptors during the regular season, which would easily have led the Bulls — though Otto Porter Jr, shot 48.8% in 15 games for Chicago. In fact, he has shot over 40.0 percent from deep five times in his career. His presence on the floor would open the lanes for Lauri Markkanen and Zach LaVine.

Besides shooting, Green would bring his playoff experience to the Bulls, having been to the Finals with the San Antonio Spurs and this postseason with the Raptors. He’s a high character type player who would be a positive addition to any locker room.

The Raptors own the Bird Rights on Green, meaning they could go over the salary cap to re-sign him. He may be apprehensive to leave Toronto, especially if Leonard stays north of the border this summer.
