The Brooklyn Nets have agreed to send Allen Crabbe and a pair of draft picks to the Atlanta Hawks for Taurean Prince. Here are NBA Trade Grades for both sides.

As it turns out, we didn’t even need to wait until the end of the 2019 NBA Finals to get our first offseason move.

As first reported by ESPN‘s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Brooklyn Nets have agreed to send Allen Crabbe, the 17th overall pick in this year’s draft and a 2020 protected first-rounder to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for Taurean Prince and a 2021 second round selection.

According to Woj, the 2020 first-rounder being sent to Atlanta will be lottery-protected (protected 1-14).

The deal cannot be completed until July 6, when Atlanta will have the space to absorb Crabbe’s contract. The Nets are obviously aiming to clear out salary cap space for a busy summer, while the Hawks are taking on another bad contract to add to their expanding pile of draft assets.

The question is, how did each side fare in this exchange? To sort it out, here are the latest NBA Trade Grades for both teams.
