With the Utah Jazz appearing to be moving on from Ricky Rubio, here are three potential options at point guard this summer.

The Utah Jazz appear to be ready to move on from Ricky Rubio.

According to a recent report from Spanish journalist Ernest Macia, Rubio has reportedly been told by the Jazz that they don’t view him as a priority heading into the 2019 NBA offseason and might look elsewhere when it comes to the franchise’s point guard position.

In a tweet on Sunday afternoon, Macia sent out a quote from Rubio, saying (after translation) “Utah has already made me know I’m not a priority for them.”

It’s not totally surprising to hear that the Jazz are looking to move on from Rubio, as he is set to enter the free agent market. There were rumblings during the season that Utah was looking to move Rubio, most notably at the trade deadline in February.

The Jazz enter the offseason and the upcoming free agent period with a decent amount of cap room to be able to add a nice complementary piece at the 1 — or elsewhere if desired, and if they’re actually able to lure someone to Salt Lake City.

With Rubio’s time in Utah appearing to be coming to an end, let’s take a look at three potential options at point guard for the Jazz and who they could go after in the upcoming offseason.
