4. Aron Baynes

Aron Baynes has established himself as one of the most reliable backup centers in the NBA. Last season with the Boston Celtics, he appeared in 51 games and actually started 18 of those.

Baynes produced 5.6 points and 4.7 rebounds in just 16.1 minutes per game. For being a center, he also was excellent from the free throw line, shooting 85.5 percent. On top of the solid free throw shooting, Baynes also shot 34.4 percent from deep.

Aron Baynes has a player option for next season worth roughly $5.5 million. If he does opt in, he will become an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2020.

Although it appears Baynes loves Boston and intends on opting into his player option, trading him after he opts in would be a smart move for the Celtics. There are many teams who have a massive void at the backup center spot who would put together a solid trade package to acquire him.

Boston could get an asset in return for Baynes prior to him becoming a free agent next offseason if the team deals him (assuming he opts in). This would be a proactive move in which Boston could get a player on a longer deal in return.
