5.  Guerschon Yabusele

Guerschon Yabusele is the former 16th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft and still has a lot of potential as an NBA player. At 6’8″ and 260 pounds, he is extremely physical and can guard players bigger than him. Originally from France, Yabusele never played college basketball and was drafted as an international player.

Last year was Yabusele’s second NBA season and he struggled to find playing time on the loaded Celtics roster. In just 6.1 minutes per game, he averaged 2.3 points and 1.3 rebounds. As an undersized power forward, Yabusele is a below-average 3-point shooter at 32.3 percent on his career.

Still just 23 years old, he is just scratching the surface of his NBA career. With one year left on his deal worth $3.1 million, followed by a $4.8 million team option the following season, a rebuilding team may still find him intriguing.

If the Celtics can find a team where Yabusele can get more playing time and is willing to give him a shot, trading him this summer may be a good option. Unless the Celtics foresee their depth thinning out over the next season or two, Guerschon Yabusele may never find minutes on the currently constructed roster.
