2. Kevin Porter Jr.

Kevin Porter Jr. is one player who is tough to gauge on where he will end up being selected in the NBA Draft. Some scouts and analysts have him going in the lottery while others have him dropping as far as the second round.

Regardless, Porter is begin considered one of the most underrated prospects of the draft simply for the reason that not many people know where to place him.

As a freshman at USC, Porter averaged 9.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game in 22.1 minutes of playing time. He spent a majority of the season coming off of the bench, starting in only four games.

While his numbers are far from being outstanding, it is the eye test that has so many fans/scouts intrigued by Porter. He has shown to have an all-around skill set, being average or above average at almost everything on the court.

Whether it be scoring off of the dribble, creating plays for others, or defending the opposing best player, Porter has the potential to do it all.

Porter is an excellent athlete and has great size for the guard position. Standing at 6’5″ and weighing 215 pounds, KPJ should have very little trouble adjusting to the size and pace of the NBA.

Of course, Porter’s talents are largely relying on the hope that he can max out his potential. As of now, he is still a very unpolished player. Outside of his scoring ability, Porter will have to do a ton of work to round out the rest of his game and become a valuable asset.

With this being said, he likely has the most upside of any player at this point in the draft and should be taken by the Cavaliers if he is available.
