4. Carsen Edwards

If any player managed to raise their stock value during the 2019 NCAA Tournament, it was Carsen Edwards. His marksmanship was on full display as he drilled a tournament record 28 total 3-pointers through his first four games.

Edwards made his name known with a dazzling performance in the elite-eight when he scored 42 points and knocked in 10-of-19 attempts from deep.

This was his second 42 point explosion of the tournament and helped him become the first player since Stephen Curry to be named the South Region’s Most Outstanding Player despite not playing for a winning team.

This tournament simply proved something that people had already been speculating about Edwards. He is an elite scorer with the skill to shoot off of the dribble and create his own shot.

While he might be a bit undersized, his scoring ability should make up for any potential defensive issues. Overall on the season, Edwards averaged 24.3 points per game.

The Cavaliers could use Edwards similarly to how the Toronto Raptors are currently using Fred VanVleet. A spark plug off of the bench at the guard position that can influence the outcome of a game without being the team’s best player.
