The Portland Trail Blazers have just completed a season to remember. Here are the top 10 moments from their 2018-19 campaign.

The 2018-19 Portland Trail Blazers will be one of the most memorable teams in franchise history, even in an era of Rip City basketball that already tends to defy expectations.

The year started on a somber note, with owner Paul Allen passing away on Oct. 15. However, the team rallied to deliver a 53-29 record, their first 50-win season since 2014-15 (51-31) and their best finish since 2013-14 (54-28).

Damian Lillard put together another All-Star-caliber season, making his fourth midseason classic and recently earning All-NBA Second Team honors. Backcourt mate CJ McCollum had another steady season, but then went on to have the best postseason of his career.

Center Jusuf Nurkic also complied the best season of his career. Unfortunately, it was truncated by a gruesome compound fracture in his left tibia and fibula. While his absence on the court was felt, he was a welcome presence on the sidelines throughout the playoff run, cheering on his team as they pushed to the franchise’s first conference finals since 2000.

While the season ended in a sweep for the third consecutive year, there was still a lot to appreciate. There will be plenty of big questions to answer this summer. For now, though, let’s take one more look back at the top 10 moments from a great 2018-19 season.
