1. Ignas Brazdeikis

Ignas Brazdeikis is a name everyone will remember. Not only was he Michigan’s best player last season, but his on-court feistiness will help him stand out.

If nothing else, Brazdeikis works his butt off defensively. He’s a grinder who doesn’t back down from any matchup, and fights for every rebound too.

This is even more impressive when considering his offensive workload at Michigan. Brazdeikis was the main option of the Wolverines’ offense, used in a bevy of ways. From transition cutting to head honcho of the offense to spotting up from 3, Iggy was all over the place on the offensive end.

This bodes well for his future as a role player. He’s too limited athletically to be a plus defender, but he’ll die trying. His shooting (39.9 percent on 3.9 3s a game) and instinctual cutting will give him a role on somebody’s bench.

Brazdeikis will benefit quite well from not being the first or second option. He can cater to his strengths as a cutter and sniper, feeding off the gravity that star players like Embiid will generate.
