7. 25-point deficit erased in Memphis

When the Nuggets traveled down to face the Memphis Grizzlies on Jan. 28, they played one of their best second halves of basketball of the season. In the middle of the third quarter, the Nuggets were facing what looked to be an insurmountable deficit, trailing 70-45 deficit against a struggling Grizzlies squad.

Then the Nuggets locked in defensively and everything changed. They held Memphis to just 17 points in the third quarter, and then got it going offensively in the fourth.

Led by Malik Beasley and Will Barton, Denver stormed back in a hurry, outscoring the Grizz 35-15 in the game’s final quarter.

In crunch time, the Nuggets iced the game with an ice-cold basket from the low post by Jokic. In a game where he struggled from the field, going just 10-for-22, Jokic locked in and hit an imprecise right hook over veteran Marc Gasol.

The fact that they did all this with Jamal Murray sidelined only made the comeback that much more impressive.
