4. Rick Fox

Rick Fox was the starting small forward on two Lakers championship teams (2001, 2002) and a key reserve on a third title team (2000). His 13-year pro career was almost evenly split between the rival Lakers (seven years) and Boston Celtics (six years), but Fox has since made Hollywood his adopted home thanks to his work as an actor.

His TV credits include The Big Bang Theory, Black-ish and Oz, while he’s had movie roles in He Got Game, Tyler Perry’s Meet The Browns, and the classic Sharknado 3.

Fox’s IMDB page might be more impressive than his basketball resume. That could bolster his application to be the Lakers’ new ambassador, however, considering that he’s obviously comfortable in the spotlight and is widely recognized by an audience that transcends sports.

If there is a camera nearby, Rick Fox will find it. If his job is to promote the L.A. Lakers when he finds that camera, he’ll do it well with that big, annoyingly perfect smile on his face.
